Hey Amelia! How is Paris?
Fantastic! I always love visiting Paris and seeing the beautiful architecture. There’s so much to do here, and I was lucky enough last night to attend La Galerie Dior which was breathtaking.

What do you look forward to the most during fashion week?
I think the entire experience is something I look forward to. I feel very grateful that I get to come to these shows, have my hair and make-up done beautifully and wear fun outfits!

Can you tell us about your look for the Dior AW24 show?
I wore a long velvet black skirt with a shirt and matching blazer with this absolutely beautiful pink embroidery! This was probably one of my favourite looks I’ve ever worn, I felt super cool and chic. It was also so much fun being able to dress the look up even more with the accessories! We added a bow tie and some statement sunglasses, paired it with some swanky cowboy boots, a cool bag and voilá! You have fashion!

Did you have any expectations going into the show?
I am lucky that Dior have kindly invited me to a couple of their Paris shows before, so the logistics of the day I generally know what to expect, but I’m always blown away by the fantastic and creative looks and I’m always excited to see what the theme of the runway is!

Is there a look that stands out to you from the runway?
My look ha! Kidding, there was a very chic look that was a leopard print coat with sleek tights, a black turtle neck and quite futuristic glasses that I absolutely loved!

What makes a show memorable to you?
Everything about the shows are memorable as it’s such a unique thing that I am grateful to be able to experience, but if I had to choose it would be the music. The music at the show today was just so cool and gave the event that final touch that brought the whole thing together – on top of the incredible clothes of course, that goes without saying.

What do you carry in your bag during fashion week? What is your #1 fashion week essential?
Well my bag for this show was very small so just my lipstick and a snack. And I’d say my #1 fashion week essential would be water, there’s a lot of running around and general busy-ness at these things so staying hydrated is always a plus.

What does Dior signify to you?
Dior is such a lovely brand, and especially after getting a tour of La Galerie yesterday, learning about the history of the brand and where Christian Dior himself began, I’d have to say the attention to personal detail is really lovely to me. There’s something very special about how the brand still incorporates things Christian Dior himself loved, like the stars for example.

What are your plans for after fashion week?
Sleep, I’ve had such a great time but I’m excited to now relax after my premiere for MARY & GEORGE tomorrow then I will definitely be having some R&R.

Can you tell us about your upcoming role in Mary & George?
I play Frances Coke who was married into the Villiers family and had a terribly difficult life. When I began researching her, I initially felt angry and upset for some of the things she and so many other women had to go through at the time so I instinctively thought to play the character in a sad and self-pitying way. But upon further research and understanding the sheer defiance she demonstrated in the face of so much adversity, I decided to hone in to reflect that side of her much more.

How does this project compare to Emily and your past projects?
This project is so great in comparison to previous projects I’ve been in as I’ve been able to play a character with a bit more fire to them. I’ve loved all the projects and roles I’ve done previously but some of the scenes I got to do in Mary and George were so different and so much fun to do.

What was it like working with Julianne Moore and Nicholas Galitzine?
Fabulous! It’s always very inspiring getting to work alongside such talented actors.

What would your dream role be? Is there a genre you’ve not explored yet that you’d love to?
A dream role of mine would be something I could really sink my teeth into acting wise, I’d love to challenge myself with something I’ve never tried before. I’d love to explore the fantasy or psychological thriller genres at some point as they are my favourite genres to watch!
