Omah Lay has risen swiftly and purposefully, effortlessly becoming one of the most captivating names in Afrobeats. The Nigerian singer and producer has collaborated with Justin Bieber, 6LACK and Aitch amongst others, released a critically acclaimed body of work in Boy Alone, and most recently showed his progressive intentions with fresh single, “Holy Ghost”, unveiled late last year.

Last week, Lay took to Hammersmith Apollo to bless his London fans with a first appearance in the English capital for nearly three years. A night to remember for all those who attended, the event showcased Lay’s superlative star quality as he continues on his quest for global acclaim and musical decadence.

On his return to London for the triumphant show, Lay told us, “It’s been almost 3 years since I last performed in London! I’ve been touring Europe for over a year but I was anticipating London the most because it’s been a while since my show at EartH. There were a few challenges, but the crowd was amazing. London feels a lot like home now and I’m really happy to be back, connecting with everybody that supports me here. The energy here is crazy, the love for “Holy Ghost” has been amazing and I can’t wait to share new music with them.”
