A sure-fire hit from Central Cee, Nia Archives’ emotive LP title track, and an all-star cast for the return of Free Nationals: welcome to Wonderlist!

Central Cee – “I Will”

UK’s global rap breakthrough Central Cee has proven himself to be adaptable across different strands of rap, and with his latest crosses further into a mainstream sound than ever before. In his first single of the year, “I Will”, Cench brings charm and an illustrious story-telling nature to a gently grooving instrumental. Ear-worm and endearing, it’s a refreshingly fresh side to the West London’s seamless artistry.

Nia Archives – “Silence Is Loud”

Mancunian junglist Nia Archives is undoubtedly one of the essential new British artists to emerge over the past few years, and to our excitement has announced her forthcoming debut album, Silence Is Loud, will be unveiled in April. She’s shared the title track from the record, which is a dazzling ode to her brother. Once again leaning into indie aesthetics while maintaining her experimental electronic nuance, it’s an instantly likeable, captivating and engrossing number.

Free Nationals, A$AP Rocky & Anderson .Paak – “Gangsta”

Grammy-nominated four piece Free Nationals, who have worked with a plethora of the very best talent from Mac Miller to Daniel Caesar and Westside Gunn, return with their first new music single since 2020. For their comeback single they enlist the esteemed Anderson .Paak and A$AP Rocky for a funk-laden piece of blissful soul, with Paak and Rocky flaunting their respective genius atop the cinematic and progressive instrumental.

Charlotte Day Wilson – “I Don’t Love You”

Seminal Canadian talent Charlotte Day Wilson has announced the release of her latest full-length record, Cyan Blue, poised to bless our ears on 3rd May. She’s shared a gorgeous and devastating new teaser single, “I Don’t Love You”, with a sublime and understated 6/8 musical backdrop and her soaring vocals oozing emotion and character.

Vibbar ft. Harry Pinero X TJ 2 Percent – “Autumn”

Vibbar are a UK rap collective who have had an emphatic influence on the more alternative side of the scene. Following their successes years back, they return with a smooth, slick and serendipitous new cut, “Autumn”. Brimming with intelligent bars, laidback flows and accompanied by an authentic visual, it’s a statement of intent from an act looking to augment their cherished legacy.

Tunde ft. Mozzy – “Thug With Me”

Manchester’s latest hotly tipped MC Tunde is back with another single fresh from a MOBO nomination for Best Newcomer. Linking up with US spitter Mozzy, Tunde continues to refine his street rap sound, offering plenty of braggadocious steeze to complement the ominous sonics of the beat.

Bleachers — “Me Before You”

Bleachers’ final single before the release of their self-titled fourth album, “Me Before You” follows “Modern Girl”, “Alma Mater”, and “Tiny Moves”. Making us even more excited for the 8th March release date, the track builds on the classic Bleachers sound while exploring new depths in production and songwriting. Saxophone lines and gripping lyrics join forces, crafting a rich soundscape that makes the room feel empty after it’s gone. It is intimate yet grand, familiar and nostalgic yet experimental and fresh — dichotomies that we can’t help but feel perfectly reflect the complexity of humanity and our world.

King Isis – “Monki”

Rising New York-based singer-songwriter King Isis continues to impress on route to her forthcoming sophomore EP “shed”. The new track, “Monki” is unsettling yet charismatic, clouded in grungy distortion, a cut that that shows Isis’ darker, moodier strand of alternative pop.

Spider – “an object of desire”

SPIDER is an emerging singer-songwriter who offers equal parts rage and refinery. Her new EP, “an object of desire”, is funny, introspective, robust and human, with the artist tackling themes as wide ranging as sex, self-confidence and religion.

Gabzy – “Piano”

Peckham’s own Gabzy has burst onto the scene of late, with his Alte-R&B sonics a cascading joy to listen to. His new one “Piano” sees production from Lekaa Beats (Central Cee, J Hus) offering up a perfect musical palette for Gabzy to glide across, bringing his trademark subtle and sumptuous vocals and love-struck lyricism to the dreamy instrumental.

Rushy x AntsLive – “Estelle”

Hot on the heels of Ants’ two MOBO nominations and Rushy’s recent viral track “Pressue” – which has just surpassed 30M Spotify streams – the two London talents continue exerting influence with a charismatic new collab showcasing the best of what the UK rap scene has to offer right now. Skippy percussive elements and melodic synth notes lay the perfect foundation for each artist to deliver trademark flows and adlibs, with Ants and Rushy touching on major wins, London life and relationships. Paired with a Torianno-produced official video shot on the river Thames, this new release showcases two young talents moving into their prime and looks sure to continue the attention around two of the capital’s most exciting names.

Blanco – “Let Me Go / Protagonist”

Already amassing hundreds of thousands of views via teasers on socials, “Let Me Go / Protagonist” comes as Blanco’s first release of the year, serving up two powerful tracks in their own right. “Let Me Go” provides a series of skippy percussive elements, reaffirming Blanco’s rare ear for a wide palette of influences, the track leaning into a classic US soul inflection, moody xylophone infused keys providing the perfect bed for the Kennington-native’s whip-smart lyricism. On the flip side, “Protagonist” arrives immersed in an atmospheric instrumental of pitched up vocals and hard-hitting woozy drill bass kicks, allowing Blanco room to remind the listener why he is heralded as one of the UK’s most exciting and intricate lyricists emanating from these shores right now.

Erick the Architect – I’ve Never Been Here Before

Musical polymath Erick the Architect has just released his highly-anticipated debut solo album I’ve Never Been Here Before, alongside an official video for James Blake-produced “2-3 Zone”. The LP consists of 16 deeply personal and powerful tracks, exploring the themes of fearlessness, Black resilience, beauty in darkness and unity over a thrilling soundtrack consisting of a mix of hip-hop, soul, dub, psych and more. Crafted in his Los Angeles home studio, Erick’s debut full length features several long-time collaborators and new friends including the likes of; Joey Bada$$, Westside Boogie, George Clinton, Channel Tres, Kimbra, Lalah Hathaway, RÜDE CÅT, Boy Boy, Pale Jay and FARR, as well as a number of producers including award-winning electronic musician James Blake. The project is a statement-making collection of razor-sharp songs from an artist set free by being his authentic self, and embracing the vulnerability that comes with it.

oogie – “bake”

Continuing to build momentum as one of the capital’s most intriguing and naturally talented artists, oogie drops off the next single taken from his highly-anticipated new project, phew. Titled “bake”, the production sees skippy percussive elements fill the speakers with a sleek D’n’B-infused beat alongside melodic keys, before switching up half-way through to a darker, more menacing trap-style beat . All the while oogie delivers his raw anecdotal tales through his unique tone and seemingly ambivalent cadence, enabling the lyricist to lure the listener in throughout this innovative new cut.

Better Joy — “Dead Plants”

Following their debut single, “Hard To Love”, Better Joy’s new track “Dead Plants” is an alternative and complicated love song. However, there is nothing complicated about our love for it. Out now with a video, the single was mixed by Caesar (Boygenius, Wet Leg) and feels melancholic yet hopeful, leaving us wanting more of the Manchester-based band’s sound. Fronted by Bria Keely, Better Joy combines smart lyrics, shoegaze guitars, and alt-pop sonics for vulnerable yet strong compositions that are instantly relatable.

Annika Kilkenny — “Sentences”

Irish singer-songwriter and musician Annika Kilkenny is back with a new single! One of her first songs to go viral on social media, “Sentences” showcases her raw and honest storytelling. She opens up about her nerves and fears as an emerging artist, candidly letting people in on her journey of self-acceptance and self-compassion. “I’d also like to put it out as a reminder to myself that perfection isn’t real,” she shares. “Authenticity always baby!”

Good Neighbours — “Home”

East London-based Scott Verrill and Oli Fox, the names behind Good Neighbours, are surely off to a great start. Since the release of their debut single, “Home”, the duo has been drowning in numbers, as the hit has already amassed more than 42 million streams on Spotify, becoming a UK Top 40 and Billboard Hot 100-certified single. “We wanted to write a song about the moment you hold a loved one after some time apart,” say Verrill and Fox. “It’s such a small moment that has always sparked a visceral feeling for me. So we played with the idea of finding home within another human.” We already look forward to seeing what’s next for the boys!

Karol G — “Contigo”

Latin American powerhouse Karol G knows how to set a dance floor on fire. But for her latest musical offer, “CONTIGO”, she also proves to be a savvy collaborator, partnering with electronic music masthead Tiestö in what surely will be a summer hit. The release also sets the tone to a big year ahead for the Colombian singer, as she gears up to embark on her first European tour of the year this June, with her new album Mañana Será Bonito. The track is vibrant, infectious and love-infused… one poised to soar to the top of the charts.

Victoria Jane — “Demos Vol 2”

“Demos Vol 1 was me discovering my sound and experimenting as an artist. Demos Vol 2 is more refined,” says singer-songwriter Victoria Jane, as she unveils her sophomore EP, “Demos Vol 2″. Produced by Rob Stephens, the 3-song project is a heartfelt, laid-back, and personality-filled collection, establishing Jane as one to watch in the UK’s R&B and soul scene. “It’s me really beginning to step into the music I’ve always wanted to make,” she continues. “It’s soulful, it’s feeling, and it’s the beginning of the journey listening to my music will take you on.”

TDJ — “Come Back Home”

Montreal-based multi-faceted artist and trance powerhouse TDJ is starting 2024 strong, as she unveils today her debut single on Diplo’s Higher Ground label, “Come Back Home”. A nostalgic, sentimental nod to 00’s trance/Eurodance, the track positions her as a multilayered artist, as she serves as writer, producer, and singer on the project. “The song is about past life relationships that somehow resurface,” TDJ explains. “There’s this feeling of chasing after something that gets closer and further away at the same time.”
