Introducing Past Life Romeo, singer-songwriter Camila Djadja’s latest project and a fresh addition to the alternative pop scene seamlessly blending electro, hyperpop, and rock influences. Collaborating with the likes of Carlos Loverboy (Spill Tab, Blossoms, Myd) on eclectic melodies and Jim Casanova (Annia Ada) on garage drums, the trio is gearing up for the release of their debut EP, “You Look Just Like Me,” promising a journey into introspection and intimate dialogues on change, self-image, gender, and sexuality. In anticipation, they’ve unveiled a mesmerizing lyric video for their latest single, “Sometimes, Most Nights.”
Camila’s ethereal vocals, coupled with her vibrant wordplay, glide effortlessly atop the expansive production of Casanova and Loverboy, crafting an electronic hyper-pop experience that’s both immersive and captivating. With saturated guitars, hyper-pop flair, and avant-garde pop sensibilities, the track pulses with dynamic energy, inviting listeners into a vibrant soundscape. The video itself evokes nostalgic memories, tinted with a VHS-feel, matched up perfectly with the group’s lyrical accompaniment. As Past Life Romeo continues to carve its path, expect nothing short of electrifying innovation and soul-stirring melodies.
