Designer Foday Dumbuya, the creative force behind LABRUM London, continues to make history with each collection, showcasing his connection to his Sierra Leonean roots, African craftsmanship, and the vibrancy of West Africa’s culture. However, it may be with his latest offering, Designed by an Immigrant: Journey of Colours, presented at the Tate Museum during London Fashion Week, that he reaches his pinnacle.

Infusing vibrant colours, natural textiles, textures, and patterns, LABRUM presents a collection that brings joy, with meticulous attention to detail in exploring traditional wrapping and draping techniques. Beyond impeccable tailoring and garment construction, the collection pays homage to the resilience and influence of immigrant artists who play a significant role in advancing the fashion industry.
