Speaking on the creative process behind the track, Dolly explains “After summer, dizzy from romance and adventure, I wanted to recreate that crazy, infectious feeling into a track. I love telling stories in music, a space for the listener to be taken on a unique narrative journey. On the morning of the writing session, I woke up with the hook line ‘I’m hot on you’ whirling around my head, I took it with me, humming into the studio. Leventis knew exactly where I was going with it and began to create what it needed sonically. The sound and the story slid into place: we had a song.”
