The British Academy Film Awards, aka the BAFTAs, is an annual award ceremony dedicated to celebrating the best British and international contributions to film. Hosted by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, the 2024 edition will be held on February 18 — and the nominees have just been revealed, exactly one month prior.

Leading the lists with a whopping 13 nominations, Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer once again proves itself to be a top film of the year — though its release weekend counterpart and prior award show success, Barbie, received only five. Between the two lands Poor Things with 11 nominations, Killers of the Flower Moon and The Zone of Interest with nine, Anatomy of a Fall, The Holdovers, and Maestro with seven, All of Us Strangers with six, and Saltburn tying with Greta Gerwig’s masterpiece at five.
