Forget The Secret Garden, and dive into the wonderful, Guccified universe of The Alchemist’s Garden: where layered scents morph into new expressions of art and reveal the magic of unseen worlds. And for their latest instalment, Perfumer Alexandra Monet conjures a new treasure for Gucci’s collection of luxury fragrances, A Floral Verse Eau de Parfum – where darkness meets light. Oozing with sensuality and overflowing with nature’s delicate allure, the fantastical elixir opens with Indian Jasmine Sambac, elegantly extracted from the night-blooming flower that is said to capture the secrets of the moon. The result? Fruity green nuances, dancing with intense warmth and sensuality. Meanwhile, in celebration of Sri Lanka’s long tradition of producing the world’s finest teas, hand-picked black tea leaves light up the senses offering dry, leafy accents – with smoky notes enhanced by fresh and spicy facets. Together, they create an expressive fusion, finessed by the rhythmic White Musk base note that adds an undeniable delicacy and charm. Sealed in a green lacquered glass flacon – with decorative gold foliage loosely shaped like a heart – A Floral Verse Eau de Parfum can be intensified, magnified, and amplified when layered with other, magical scents. This is the true power of alchemy.

Gucci The Alchemist’s Garden A Floral Verse Eau de Parfum, RRP £240, available at Harrods.
