RED LEATHER — “BURN IN HELL”

The anonymous artist travels back in time to the Wild West with his new music video off of his debut album, RENO.

Alternative-rock artist Red Leather is truly an enigma — and not only because he keeps his face covered by a tasselled Stetson hat. Visually anonymous yet sonically distinct, he separates himself from his physical form in order to start fresh and redefine his identity after years of drug addiction and hardship. Conquering his past demons, he steps into a new era of clarity and commitment to his dreams. He discusses this journey in his debut album, RENO, which is out now.

One of the most powerful tracks on the album is the rollercoaster of “BURN IN HELL”. And now, Red Leather has released an accompanying visual to bring it into another dimension. More like a short film than a music video, it begins back in the Wild West, with the protagonist embarking on a train journey around America full of untouched land and brutal battles. Throughout the journey, decades pass and cities grow — though the danger and “wildness” remains. A poignant message on civility and current society, it is utterly captivating.
