Based in America’s Midwest, the Grammy-nominated artist Martin Vogt — known artistically as Haywyre — is a master in bridging the gap between classical technicalities and electronic exploration. Infused with elements of dubstep and funk, his nuanced and layered soundscape is truly unlike anything else on the scene.

Now, the artist returns with his first release in two years. Titled “White Lie”, the single is an electronic offering with introspective production that fuses synths, strings, piano, and bass. Topped with the Midwestern’s striking vocals, the dynamic track is a brooding and expansive look into where he is taking his artistry moving forward. “I’m proud to finally get my first track in two years into the world,” says Haywyre. “Especially one like ‘White Lie’, which I feel really shows a glimpse into where the Haywyre project is going.”
