The return of Dua Lipa, a new album from PinkPantheress, and the second teaser from Peggy Gou’s forthcoming debut LP: Your new music roundup is here!

Dua Lipa – “Houdini”

Global superstar has been teasing her return for weeks and we’ve finally been blessed with the comeback of the disco queen! “Houdini” marks the beginning of a new chapter for Dua following her critically and publicly adored 2020 album Future Nostalgia. The track enlists Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker amongst others for the creative process, and is a hazy pop anthem plucked from the highest echelons of late night dancing. With a fantastic music video to match, it’s a treat on multiple senses!

PinkPantheress – Heaven knows

One of the most naturally striking artists to emerge from the UK over the past few years, songwriter and producer PinkPantheress is yet to put a foot wrong. Her debut album, Heaven knows, is no different – stylistically diverse, lyrically visceral and at times heart-rendering, and vocally sublime, it’s a cohesive and vivid listening experience, with PP once again showing her supreme craft for profound pop bangers.

Peggy Gou – “I Believe In Love Again”

Artist, producer and DJ Peggy Gou has long been considered amongst the most interesting artists in the electronic space. Finally releasing her debut album in 2024, we’ve been blessed with a second teaser from the LP, “I Believe In Love Again”. The fresh cut enlists legend of the game Lenny Kravitz for a slick and smooth R&B number that emits messages of positivity and hope, a true illustration of the depth and brevity that Peggy has in her locker.

Bad Boy Chiller Crew – Influential

It’s a crowning moment for the Bradford barmy army, Bad Boy Chiller Crew, unleashing their highly anticipated new album, Influential, out into the release stratosphere. Boasting collaborations with fellow Northern locals like Window Kid and Charlie Choppa, as well as turn from rap heavyweights like Nines and Bugzy Malone, it’s an uncompromising and enjoyable ride through the individual style and outrageous lyricism of these three Bradford heroes.

Rosie H Sullivan – “In My Nature”

Scottish singer-songwriter envelopes you in her indie-tinged folk, and with her second EP, “In My Nature”, flaunts the progression of her writing and stylistic nuance. Lyrically vivid and poetic, and vocally dazzlingly expressive, her sound wraps you up in a hazy serenity, personal and potent.

Sunny Reyne – I’ve Been Sleeping Too Long

Melbourne to London singer-songwriter Sunny Reyne offers up luxury in her sonics through the warm, crisp instrumentation and soaring vocal presence. She’s released her superb debut album, I’ve Been Sleeping Too Long, an album written in collaboration with Lewis Moody, which explores themes of love, friendship and death atop soulful, jazzy soundscapes.

Bel Cobain – “Unlikely”

There’s a translucence to the dreamy sound of Bel Cobain. Continuing to impress with each passing release, she shares “Unlikely”. A jazz-inclined breakbeat palette that Cobain co-produced, the song was written during a life changing trip to Mexico, with lyrics from the songwriter’s feelings of unrest with the country and how it treated its indigenous people.

Bloody Civilian – “Anger Management: At LEasT wE tRIED”

Only a year or so deep into her career in the spotlight, Bloody Civilian is undoubtedly one of the most exciting artists to emerge from the last 12 months. She’s unveiled “Anger Management: At LEasT wE tRIED”, a remix project of her debut, which borrows from Jersey Club, R&B and Afrobeats succinctly, and features turns from the likes of Odumodoblck, ENNY and Miraa May.

BJ the Chicago Kid – Gravy

Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter BJ the Chicago Kid has finally unveiled his highly anticipated Gravy. The album is somewhat of an all star affair: a collaborative body of work with Yeti Beats of Doja Cat fame, and the feature list is stacked with names like Freddie Gibbs and Coco Jones. Eclectic, endoscopic and throughly entertaining, it’s an assured project from one of the most consistent players in US music.

Mal Not Bad – “AP”

LA musician and visual artist Mal Not Bad has recently changed their name with the addition of ‘Not Bad’, and appear to be approaching their artistry with more gusto than ever. New single “AP”, which is plucked from a new project poised for release next year”, is atmospheric and explorative, full of beautiful cadence and consuming tones.

Talia Goddess – Down 2 Earth

Artist and polymath Talia Goddess is blessed with talent across an array of different disciplines, and upholds this fluid nature in the vision of her sonic output. Her sophomore album, Down 2 Earth, is a stunning effort, approaching themes of identity, love, loss and ego with maturity and narrative density. An enthralling piece of work, Goddess looks set to be a pinnacle part of the progression of the Brooklyn creative scene.

Tamera – “L.I.T.”

R&B frontrunner Tamera offers up “L.I.T.”, an EP that represents a shift in her artistry. Across the six tracks, Tamera dives deeper than ever before into herself, tackling difficult topics such as trauma, abusive relationships and religion in an enlightening and engaging manner, blending afro-beats, R&B and hip hop seamlessly in the process.

Sleater-Kinney – “Say It Like You Mean It”

Legacy act Sleater-Kinney’s reputation proceeds them, and with the announcement of their 11th studio album, Little Rope, arriving in January to further augment their discography. They’ve shared a fresh teaser from the LP in the shape of “Say It Like You Mean It”, a rousing and raw anthem that explores a dilapidating relationship.

Lord Apex – The Good Fight

Lord Apex finally drops his highly-anticipated debut studio album, The Good Fight. Boasting a plethora of immaculately produced soundtracks, the album features a thrilling original production from one of America’s most coveted rap beatmakers, Madlib (MF DOOM, J Dilla) – as well as heavyweight production from DJ Khalil (Dr Dre, Eminem), Angus Luke, Pops & Crooklin, Black Noi$e and Earbuds. With additional features from Freddie Gibbs, Greentea Peng and MAVI, the blend of top-tier US talent and rising UK stars point towards one of the most exciting full lengths to surface this year. Emerging alternative singer-songwriter safesp8ce made a splash with her August debut single, “quiet, i can’t think”, and has now returned with her sophomore offering. “THEY ALL DIE IN THE END” is a jungle-meets-emo crossover full of encompassing vocals and honest lyricism.

overpass – “Beautiful”

One of the hottest bands coming out of the Midlands right now, impressive four-piece overpass are taking the indie scene by storm. Plucked from their forthcoming debut EP, due in February, their new single “Beautiful” is a nostalgic coming of age tale full of relatable themes and euphoric guitar-driven instrumentation. One to watch!

Chiedu Oraka – “Mayne”

Hull’s champion Chiedu Oraka is bringing his city to the spotlight. Challenging the London rap scene, he’s been one of the key names from a smaller city in the UK over the past five years or so, and more and more rap fans are taking notice. His new single, “Mayne”, sees Oraka at his effortless best, cutting through the West Coast hip-hop-leaning instrumental with razor sharp flows and intelligent lyricism.

Kfromkway – The Scars You Can’t See

A true testament to his dedication and artistic vision, Kfromkway showcases his clear lyrical integrity across his debut mixtape, The Scars You Can’t See. Laced with powerful self-reflection and intimate tales of love, growth and development, the London-based creative delivers vivid silhouettes of youth culture and the tension between his artistic success and the inner-city pressures that can alter the affinities of his reality. From vibrant afro and house to high-calibre trap and R&B, the 22-year-old quickly marks himself as one of the most exciting and introspective talents emerging across the UK underground.

She’s just announced a fresh 16-pronged album, and shared a soaring new single to accompany the good news. “Malaika” is gorgeous ode to vulnerability and spirituality, with Teni showcasing her incredible vocal range and unique tone atop the kaleidoscopic sonics.

Bou – “Swerve It”

One of modern DnB’s leading producers, Algerian-born, Manchester-based beatsmith and DJ Bou is making quite the impression across the electronic circuit. He’s just unveiled his gritty, explorative EP, “Swerve It”, which is a succinct and fiery body of work with a mouthwatering feature list, from D Double E to Chase and Status.

Di-Vincent – “SKR (Sun Kiss Rain)”

Sharp and dextrous from the offset, Di-Vincent’s 8-track mixtape “SKR (Sun Kiss Rain)” seamlessly embodies the dissolution of youth culture. With sounds reminiscent of darkened raves and warehouse settings, the high-calibre, UKG instrumentals open pockets for the Chinese-Nigerian heritage artist to display a rare, lyrical focus that instantly underlines him as a standout. Steadily manoeuvring through the hazy, grime-infused sessions of “On The Verge”, we reach an apex of Di-Vincent’s authentic musicality across the lead track “My Way” ft. Confidence Man – “Firebreak”

Swiftly rising Confidence Man are amongst the most entertaining and enthralling production acts in the UK, and they sure do know how to get a party started! Taking a break out from shutting down venues, they share “Firebreak”, a fan favourite from shows throughout the summer, with disco-drowsed divinity and lively four-to-the-floor rhythms.

Meduulla – “Night Trip”

Manchester-born rapper and creative Meduulla delivers vibrant silhouettes across her latest cut.
