RS N°9 — HACKNEY DIAMONDS

Celebrating the release of The Rolling Stones’ new album, the band’s lifestyle brand, RS No.9, announced a limited edition vinyl and a collaboration with New York creative KidSuper.

Get your tongues out and your merch in — a new Rolling Stones album is reason enough to celebrate. The Stones’ 24th studio album and the first of original material in 18 years, Hackney Diamonds is a five-course meal for not only the band’s honorary fandom but also for everyone up for a nostalgic taste of rock ‘n’ roll history. The 12-track long album combines the melodic and crisp sounds of Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood’s guitar, and the emotive range of Mick Jagger’s vocals, reminding listeners what rock ‘n’ roll is all about while capturing the true spirit of the band.

The album includes cameos from drummer Charlie Watts — it’s their first album without him — on “Live By The Sword,” and “Mess It Up,” a punk bassline from Paul McCartney, and the soulful voice of Lady Gaga, as featured on “Sweet Sounds of Heaven,” also featuring the legendary Stevie Wonder. To celebrate the release of the year, the band’s lifestyle brand, RS No.9, announced a limited edition Hackney Diamonds vinyl, featuring the iconic ‘Stones Red’ bespoke Pantone, available at the RS No.9 flagship store on London’s favourite Carnaby Street from 11 am today, as well as on their official website from the 23rd of October. The brand also collaborated with New York creative KidSuper for an iconic merch collection.

“I’ve been a fan of The Rolling Stones since I was a kid, so when the opportunity came to support the release of their new studio album, I couldn’t turn it down,” said Colm Dillane, artist, designer, and founder of KidSuper. The collaboration comes as a limited-edition Rolling Stones x KidSuper CD and cassette featuring the band’s iconic tongue logo reimagined in two mediums by the New York creative, also seen on tees, hooded sweats, and accessories. “The iconic logo, which I designed using fingerprint artwork, represents the spirit of rock ‘n’ roll and how many people have been touched by the band’s music over their incredible 60-year history. It was important to me that through the creative process, we fused this spirit and celebration with the KidSuper energy and reflected this in the designs. I’m so proud of how the collection turned out and am excited for fans to get their hands on it!” he finishes.

RS No.9 Carnaby has also partnered with London-based jewellery designer Johnny Hoxton to release a jewellery selection celebrating the Hackney Diamonds album release. There will be three limited edition solid sterling silver pieces; a ring, a pendant and a money clip that all have the Hackney Diamonds logo laser etched and feature a VVS natural diamond. Run, don’t walk!
