SWIIMS invite listeners into a complex and profound sonic experience with their new single, “All I Die For”, teasing their forthcoming album, Into The Blue Night. In this new musical endeavor, the Canadian trio’s ethereal dream pop sound hits like a mega dose of comforting musical nostalgia. Drawing inspiration from an array of heavy-hearted throwback genres like 80s New Wave, 90s Indie Rock, Britpop, and Shoegaze, the band weaves an enchanting sonic tapestry that takes hold of you and won’t let go.

Describing the album, guitarist/vocalist Colin Thompson says: “‘Into The Blue Night’ feels like an emergence from a long tunnel into the light beyond. New but at the same time, familiar. It’s a natural progression from our first EP, taking the elements of our sound and amplifying them.” Written and recorded over the last year, the album’s twelve songs reflect a range of personal themes that the band have experienced first-hand — navigating fear of death, loss of faith in humanity throughout lockdowns, collective grief, resilience in relationships and falling in love are some of the topics the band digs into. Too relatable!
