Afro-pop sensation Mr. Dutch partnered up with the South African singer-songwriter Aymos on the release of the new single “Ungowami,” bridging the gap between amapiano notes and afro-pop on a dancefloor killer track. Mr. Dutch’s afro-pop sound retains a distinctly Nigerian identity, reflective of his upbringing, while fusing it with inspirations from his stay in South Africa. His music evokes a colorful afro-fusion feeling, drawing inspiration from live fuji music, highlife, American funk, and jazz to serenade fans worldwide.

Reflecting on the track, he says, “Ungowami” bridges the gap between Afro-pop and Amapiano and sees me team up with South African singer, Aymos.
