Inviting the “honeys and hustlers” to the alluring Palm Beach, Dsquared2 is popping its collars and knotting its sweaters in the hopes of encouraging some light-hearted hedonism for the warmer seasons ahead. Blending archival looks with seductive sensibilities, the house’s latest Spring-Summer iteration sees sports-inspired tennis skirts and golf wear uniting with elaborate pearl necklaces and double-breasted jackets, ensuring that the transition from courtside to the dancefloor is seamless. Elsewhere a dash of Y2K flare finds its place thanks to low-cut jeans, complete with daring cut-outs, and re-imagined denim silhouettes nodding to the designs of their past. Gender-boundaries are also disregarded as sliced-up ties are woven into women’s mini skirts and cropped rugby shirts feature built-in bras in a fantastically fluid display. Rounding things off, Italy’s iconic adult film star, Rocco Siffredi, lends his eye to a range of collaborative slides, belts and hightops – only adding to the draw of the brand’s newest range.
