From its cars to its storefronts to its museums to its restaurant and even theme parks, there is a level of luxurious excitement that radiates from place to place, firmly holding the grasp of everyone who is lucky enough to feel the power of the Ferrari world. Its fashion collection, which draws inspiration from the marque’s style, innovation, and performance, is no exception — and might even be one of the best examples yet.

Synonymous with excellence, quality, and adventure, the Ferrari brand is always one step ahead of itself, while continuing to look back at its heritage to inform its future — evolving at a rapid speed while remaining dedicated to its codes. It is in this manner that Creative Director Rocco Iannone and the design team approached the Spring/Summer 2024 collection — a reflection of Ferrari’s longstanding allure with a contemporary execution of modern innovation and ahead-of-the-curve design. Titled Power of Desire, the collection evokes the universal feelings of lust and longing through fabrication, silhouettes, and detailing that, at the show, commanded the attention of every guest in attendance.

A master of design and performance, the brand has interpreted their style codes —racing, workwear, and tailoring — in a body-centred approach, putting the wearer at the forefront and designing to accentuate the power within us all. Exaggerated silhouettes and skin-tight pieces juxtapose for a complex and cohesive lineup of looks, as do the bright leathers and transparent knitwear, daywear and evening-ready pieces, and experimental denim that rethinks the classic into something fresh. From hyper-specific detailing, such as logo manipulation into a camouflage pattern, to super-simple designs that let the Ferrari red colour do all the talking, every piece offered its own intrigue — but together, they were unstoppable.
