Acclaimed alternative trio NOISY have released their brand new mixtape, “FAST FWD: to friday [vol. 1]”, and we got an exclusive look at the process that has led them to this moment! Approaching their music through a DIY approach, singer Cody, guitarist Connor, and producer Spencer spearhead all aspects of their creative vision and execution. And in this new project, their artistic mastery truly shines through. With a high-energy launch party to celebrate, NOISY has been on top of the world.

We’re so pleased she was up for jumping on this track and it became the lead single for the whole mixtape coz we were so buzzing on it.

Us with Master Peace when he came to the studio to record ‘RUDEBOY’. This was a song that we’d already released on our own, but we’d been chatting to Peace about getting in the studio together and he loved this song so we took one of Cody’s verses off and let Peace do his thing.

FROIZY. NOISEMODE. NOISY and Frozemode. ’THE MOTIVE’ was the catalyst for the whole mixtape. We had Dancefloor, Rudeboy and maybe 1 or 2 others in the bag already, but we didn’t actually get the idea of releasing a collab mixtape until this track was born. We love these guys. It’s impossible to be down when they’re around. They know how to bring us up and get in the zone!

Spencer trying out new sounds. Most of our songs start with a beat, or piano part or sometimes a sample that we’ve found online. And then we develop it and usually we know if a song is good pretty quickly. If it doesn’t come naturally then thats a sign that we should move on from it!
