Hey Sula! What are you up to right now? What does a day in the life look like for you?
Right now I just finished a new song, which will be released soon. Was just in London networking and was also in the studio there. Have been up to a lot of traveling and in my day to day I’ve been writing and recording a lot of music so fans can look forward to that.

Where did your love for music first originate? How did your upbringing influence shape your passion for music?`
I was always around music when I was young, My mom would wake me up with music every morning and it just stuck with me as I grew. Feel to as the fact music was just always around me from both types English and Albanian that’s what formed my type of music today

What inspired you to start making music during the pandemic, and how did it help you cope with the challenges you faced?`
Pandemic was hard for everyone nothing to do or go but stay inside. What kicked my music was when me and my friends would freestyle over a beat in a playstation party peak covid times. I felt music was the part where I was free and in control especially during pandemic where it felt you could not control anything. Music was peace of mind for me where freedom and passion met together.

The transition from a competitive soccer player played a huge role is my music career in my opinion. I feel to as when I put my mind towards something for example soccer I try and perfect it and do it to the best of my ability which ties in with my music and ego and the mindset and hardworking that was carried with me my whole life from soccer to music makes me thrive. I find what I learned in soccer can be applied anywhere in life where a combination of hardworking, passion, dedication and discipline leads to success.

The song no case has a funny origin to it, the song was made in 30 minutes and originally wasn’t even supposed to be realised but was pushed by my friends and family to release cause they felt it could get the right exposure and showed a good example similar to a sneak peak into the abilities of my rap and ability to switch from Albanian to English.. Most important the song contains a story line that touches today’s reality and is to be continued… to the next song. The idea was to link my voice that could match a movie line and which is to be continued.

I feel as the ability of me being able to rap and make music in two languages (Albanian and English) is what makes me unique. There’s not many artists in the industry that have the ability to rap in two languages especially here in Canada nor Albania. I feel like this skill will take me to the next level.

What challenges did you encounter as an independent artist starting your music career, and how did you overcome them?
This industry, like many other industries has their challenges. Support, having a good team by your side is very helpful and I feel as to independent artists have to play the role of multiple people. As I’ve became more experienced in the music side of things I’ve learnt to reach out and network with the right people to take me to the next level.

What are your future goals and aspirations in your music career?
Main goal right now, as I am on my early stages of my career is to gain experience and learn how to navigate the music industry. Work hard and produce more songs for my voice to be heard so people can see the difference to what I bring to the music industry. I will be working towards my first album. But I also aim for my song “No Case” to be chosen as music for a movie. This is my dream.

What can your fans expect from you for the rest of 2023?
For 2023 my fans can expect much more music collaborations from artists abroad (UK, Albanian) etc and it’s only up from here and obviously more singles.
