CRISTALE – “ROADENTS” (BTS)

We take a behind the scenes look at the trailblazing rap talent’s visuals for her newest single.

Despite only emerging in an incredibly congested scene in the last few years, Cristale is undoubtedly standing out as one of the finest rising UK rappers. Last year’s debut project, “What It’s Like To Be Young”, was an impressive array of tracks that cemented her seat at the table, and the Brixton-raised artist has only augmented her acclaim since with her first venture into acting now available on our screens in the final season of the brilliant Top Boy.

We have now been blessed with a fresh offering from Cristale in the shape of “Roadents”, released via OVO Sound. Fresh off the back of her statement appearance on GRM Daily’s Daily Duppy series, the new single is absorbing, slick and striking, with the vibrant energy of the instrumental the perfect backdrop for Cristale’s sharp performance, sprawling a tale of inner-city trauma, flaunting her vivid and intelligent lyrical prowess.

We take a BTS look at the making of the entertaining visual accompaniment for “Roadents”.
