Louis Vuitton welcomes their latest unique design, the GO-14 bag. Adding to the extensive history of Louis Vuitton’s iconic leather goods, the nexus of entwined passion is truly highlighted by this beautiful bag. A designer’s inspiration, a trunk-maker’s secrets and an artist’s ingenuity – the GO-14 celebrates both the modern day lifer and traditional, deep rooted practices.

The GO-14 is one of Nicolas Ghesquière’s, LV’s Women’s Artistic Director, first designs, appearing originally on the runway back in 2014. Now reimagined to perfection, the design is making a comeback with a unique characteristic, the malletage pattern.

The malletage threads in the spirt of historical trunk-making, a distinctive crisscrossing across pads seen originally inside trunks as a protective barrier. Speaking on the rediscovery of this Louis Vuitton innovation, revealing its invisible luxury, Nicolas states “There are some universal codes that exist solely in Louis Vuitton. It was about reappropriating and transposing them into a new setting.”
