We sat down with the shining star to get to know her early beginnings, her social media presence and exciting upcoming projects…

Hey! How are you doing? Out of all your career paths (acting, dance, singing, content creating, etc), which was your first love?
Hi! I am great! How are you? My first love was dance. I started dancing when I was only 2 years old and am still going!
 
You work across a variety of mediums and also in a variety of different roles. How does it differ playing a character, i.e. in Attaway General or Erin & Aaron, versus playing yourself, i.e. in Dance Moms?
Well, when playing a character, you have to adapt to their personality, fashion, interactions and everything. That’s so fun getting to explore and to be someone completely different than yourself in front of the camera! But when I get to play myself, I just get to be myself! They are so different, but I love doing both.

Your social media platforms are such positive, kind places, and you have really become a role model to many as a result. Did you always know you wanted to have this kind of a motivational impact or how did this position come about?
Since I was little, I have always been an optimist and looked on the positive side of everything. So, when I was given a platform, I knew I wanted to use it for good! So, I decided to make my main goal of content to spread positivity and happiness! 
              
What can we expect from your solo music project? How does music allow you to explore a different side of your artistry?
Creating music has been such an amazing journey. I love being creative so finding a new outlet to do so is the best. You can expect the same things in my music that you see from me as a person! Joy, positivity, and always trying new things!

In your opinion, how does the industry differ in New York vs. LA?
New York and LA are the same in ways but at the same time so different. In my opinion the industry in NY is very focused on Broadway and theater and print work. In LA it’s very focused on commercials and TV and film! They are both amazing and are great for different things. I am grateful to have been able to work in both. 
 
You have worked with some amazing brands! Do any collaborations stick out to you as a favourite?
Honestly every brand I have ever worked with I have loved so much! I only collaborate or promote brands and products if I truly love it and believe in! So, I don’t think I could pick one because they are all amazing.
 
Although you’re still young, you’ve already been in the industry for a long time now. What is one thing you have learned in this time?
One thing I have learned is that every success and experience, whether big or small, is a step towards your big dreams and goals. Everyone is on their own path so don’t compare your journeys to others because they all look different. So, enjoy and celebrate every moment!

Do you have a career highlight thus far?
I am so grateful to have had many highlights so far! A few of them are hosting the orange carpet at the Kids Choice Awards this past year, of course filming Dance Moms Season 8 and most recently guest starring on Nickelodeon’s Erin & Aaron this past June!
 
Are there any other types of projects you’d like to try?
There are so many more things I want to do but my biggest dream project is a feature film! So, fingers crossed I get to do so in the future!
