It’s really a play by play of my innermost thoughts, anxieties and chaos that was happening when I wrote the song. There’s the rhythm that I love about New York City but if you trip or skip a beat it’s easy to feel crushed by everything rushing by around you. When I wrote this song I needed to know there was someone or something on the other side of the darkness I was feeling.”
