Jugger has a new track out, serving as his second summer single, and it’s as dynamic as ever. Titled “CMFTZN”, its transfixing sound will pull you into a gothic and melodic journey through his twisting life and into his enchanting, escapist world. As the follow up to previous single “Stunt Devil”, which was his first release in three years, “CMFTZN” (pronounced Comfort Zone) pushes the boundaries of his artistry even further.

Speaking on the track, Jugger states: “The lyrics, ‘sky dive for the money D.B.’ are a call-out to DB Cooper, the 1971 Hijacker who parachuted from a heisted plane with millions of ransom dollars and was never seen again after his great escape. The story unfolds as I paint the picture of a great escape through the sequence. ‘The secret doors’ are also mentioned in the lyrics. In the Trap, you gotta stay up for hours sometimes days at a time to keep yourself alert and to make a great escape or to make money. That’s my comfort zone no matter the environment. I can always make a great escape.”

Complex and strategically chaotic, the accompanying music video is a dark, twisted funhouse — a cinematic portrayal of the layers of Jugger’s psyche. On filming the video, Jugger explains, “We filmed ‘CMFTZN’ in a dark dungeon type of atmosphere. The location was undisclosed. The environment really brought out the idea of the video itself. It was really natural.”
