Situated between Amsterdam, Paris and Tel Aviv, cultural diversity flows through the artistic ethos and stylistic vision of Iris Ell, an impressive newcomer who melds together electronic and pop. Discovering the sprawling nature of Paris’ techno scene whilst still at school, Ell has gone on to refine her sound, with her first releases coming with Swedish product sweep on Stockholm’s Cherish Label and the international Sister collective.

The talent has now shared news of her highly anticipated forthcoming EP, “Undergod”. Made in collaboration with sought after Italian product Tuna Display, it is poised to be a welcoming introduction to the artistic nuance and layered character of Ell, with thee promise of genre-bending sonics and a study of the intricacies of a toxic relationship.

We have been gifted with a glimpse into the soon-to-be-released EP, in the shape of “Moderation”. Released on Cascine’s singles label CSCN, the track flaunts the versatility and emotional resonance of the artist, combining hazy pop-driven cadence with raw and consuming electronic tendencies. Dreamy vocals synths and booming bass lay the foundations for ethereal, subtle yet focused vocals, illustrating a striking sonic approach that is unique and explorative.

“Undergod” is set for release on 18th August via LA tastemaker Cascine.
