London-based musician and producer Luke Gomm is back with a new single, and an enthralling video to go with it! Titled “Arcade Nights”, it is the first to be released from his upcoming EP, giving us a taste of what’s to come. The wider project serves as an exploration of all the various phases of a relationship, and this retro-infused track is the epitome of adolescence, spontaneity, and excitement. Through a blend of R&B, electronic, and alt-pop, Gomm creates an atmospheric soundscape that is as wide as it is intricate.

“‘Arcade Nights’ captures the essence of youthful spirit and exploration,” explains Gomm. “When I first wrote the track I was channeling the bassline and allowing it to inspire lyrics about memorable nights out and my feelings towards them. Later, during the production process I got in the studio with Benjamin Totten (Guitar) & Tehillah Daniel (BVs) to add the final touches.”

We are so excited to premiere the music video — a visual representation of “Arcade Nights” that feels perfectly at home with Gomm’s music. The point of view shifts back and forth between placing us as the eyes of the observer and showing us what the protagonists see through their camera themselves. If this is anything like the full EP, we can’t wait!
