As a Cuban-Swedish artist, LUCIIA grew up with an array of musical influences, from the sounds of Havana to Malmö and everywhere in between. It is no surprise, therefore, that her own sound has a bit of everything. Forging her own blend of nostalgic R&B and cutting-edge sonics, she has crafted a genre truly her own — one that has garnered her a Swedish Grammy nomination and the coveted spot opening up for Coldplay in Sweden this July.

Her new single is out now, and it’s LUCIIA at her best. The first taste of her upcoming EP, “WITH II EYES”, “Same Thing New Man”​​ is a soulful ballad full of empowering and emotional lyrics, an infectious beat, and a sultry groove that will get you up on your feet. Her powerful voice carries through the track, exemplified even further through a music video of equal wonder. As she sings to the camera, a black-and-white story unfolds simultaneously, before the two intertwine in harmony.

“Working on this project has truly helped me see my life in a different way and I’m so grateful to have had the people in my corner to be able to help me create this magic,” LUCIIA shared on her Instagram. “Excited to finally share it with you guys, this next chapter of my journey.
