Snowapple, a multidisciplinary and international artist collective that values new encounters, releases Avant-Garde Single “I, Cyborg”. Blending electric guitar, bass, and analogue synths creates an otherworldly sonic landscape that pushes the boundaries of alt pop, art rock, and cyberpunk genres.

The video is a stunning fusing of contemporary dance and futuristic film and set in a post-apocalyptic world. I, Cyborg takes inspiration from Donna Haraway’s Cyborg Manifesto, delivering deeply political and disruptive lyrics that challenge traditional notions of gender while exploring the intricate relationship between animals and machines. Snowapple’s masterful of blending electric guitar, bass, and analogue synths creates an otherworldly sonic landscape that pushes the boundaries of alt pop, art rock, and cyberpunk genres.

Accompanying the single is a visually stunning art-video that fuses contemporary dance and futuristic film. Set in a post-apocalyptic environment, the video portrays two beings attached to abandoned machines, raising questions about their existence and the fine line between survival and enslavement.

You can experience the talented collective at Edinburgh Fringe, performing 14-20th August at Institute Francais d’Ecosse in Edinburgh.
