Rhumba Club, aka London based, Jersey born musician Tom Falle, blesses us with new single “Perfect Queen”. The track is on his forthcomiing sophomore album Love Apokalypto. Produced by Grammy nominated Mikko Gordon, Love Apokalypto is Rhumba Club evolved;  a joyous collection of immaculate electro pop, best described by Tom as “a kind of queer New Wave”.

“Perfect Queen” highlights the album’s tone exceptionally with its irresistible bass line and synths reminiscent of the legendary Tom Tom Club. As for the rest of the album, we follow Falle’s journey of love-at-first-sight with his partner, as he explains, “I once saw the most glamorous, femme man, sashay down platform 2 of Whitstable station, drenched in Old Celine. I now live with that Perfect Queen, and wrote a song about that encounter, re-appropriating early new wave sounds for a queer narrative. Think The Cars but much gayer…”
