Fiona Harren is back with her second single, and it’s a bedroom-pop-rock anthem. At only 17 years old, the indie artist is quickly making a name for herself and establishing her artistry as one to watch. Combining a nostalgic 90s energy with empowering, diary-esque lyrics, she captures youth culture in all its ups and downs. Freedom and rebellion, love and heartbreak, friendship and angst, she explores it all.

“Magic Trick”, the follow up to her debut single, “Go Getter”, is a depiction of a fantasy. Lyrically, she tells the story of a boy suddenly disappearing, perfectly capturing that longing wish that you could simply flip a switch and move past a difficult moment. “‘Magic Trick’ is an idea I had when I was trying to get out of a relationship,” Fiona explains. “Since that’s never an easy option, I thought about how nice it would be to just be able to flick a magic wand and suddenly it’s over”. The accompanying music video has a DIY, grunge feel to it, as Fiona sings with strength and intention.

Fiona’s debut EP, “…and then you were gone”, will be released in Autumn 2023, and will expand on these ideas even further. Keep an eye out for the rising star!
