Growing up with her Cuban family in Kansas, Sasha’s childhood was one full of prosperous and diverse culture, as she encompassed herself in her surroundings. Music was a major part of her childhood, a fact that was solidified by her introduction to renowned writer and producer Darrell Lawrence. With the stalwart, Prendes met her musical match and the rest is history.

Prendes has now unveiled her effervescent new single “Shake This”, the latest indication of her unyielding talent. Merging Latin intricacies with contemporary pop characteristics, in an embracement of her Cuban roots, her performance is dynamic and assured, serenading the beat with her luscious vocals, exploring a narrative of commitment and self-love.

Speaking on the new single, Prendes comments, “I was lucky to be raised by my parents and grandparents who kept the culture alive. Now I love blending Spanish and English together in songs, because both languages embody who I am as a person and an artist.”
