New York-born, Berlin-based singer-songwriter and visual artist Marlena Dae is providing listeners with plenty of musical goodness. Her aim is to create an immersive sonic and visual universe for listeners to encompass themselves within. After emerging in 2021, she has released a smattering of singles that have showcased different sides of her artistry, with standout tracks like “luv me” illustrating the artistic depth and major appeal that the artist upholds.

Dae has now returned with her latest engrossing single, “emotionless”, a moody, infatuating effort that takes its listener deep into the mind and psyche of the artist. The sonic backdrop, consisting of dreamy synths, spritely drums and atmospheric harmonies, create a trip-laden landscape for Dae to serenade atop of. Her translucent vocals pierce the palette, drawing the listener into her startling narrative.
