The American denim heritage brand partnered with MEDICOM TOY, the creator of the iconic bear dolls, for a capsule collection.

Lee has been dressing the world for over 130 years. Known for the fit of their denim, their decade-defining styles, and youth-culture focused ethos, they have inspired generations and created a loyal following who come back time and time again for their pieces. The brand’s mascot, Buddy Lee, has been a staple in fashion and pop culture for a century now. Now, it’s getting a refresh — thanks to BE@RBRICK.

Buddy comes to life in the new Lee x BE@RBRICK collaboration, an apparel and figurine capsule by the denim brand and MEDICOM TOY. Established in 1996, the toy company produces character figurines, and is known worldwide for the bear-shaped block figure, BE@RBRICK.

The capsule brings together 90’s nostalgia and MEDICOM TOY’s emphasis on intricate toy design in a smart and fresh manner. The collectible Buddy figurine, which stands over two feet tall, wears Lee’s classic denim overalls and hat. You can also coordinate with your Buddy doll, with the playful and nostalgic apparel line: three tees and a denim jacket. Each piece features patches or screen-printed imagery of Buddy, in classic Lee silhouettes and colourways. Youthful and fun, the collection embraces the pillars of both brands, bringing them together for an unexpected yet fitting collaboration.

Lee’s VP of Global Collaborations, Joe Broyles, says: “This collaboration feels like the perfect mesh of two global icons.
