Kosmo Kint is a student of the industry. His roots lie in Boston’s New England Conservatory of Music, training as an opera singer through over a decade. A stunning vocalist, Kint went on to sharpen his lyrical and musical prowess, forming a dark wave band in the early 2010’s entitled Suntalk. He then moved to Berlin, immersing himself in the electronic dance scene in the German capital. His music flows through genres, heavily influenced by house and electronica, unique and striking.
We have just been blessed with Kosmo’s debut LP, Groove Religion, and it’s accompanying lead single and music video. The track is the perfect encapsulation of the album as a whole; vibrant, uplifting and rich, it sees Kint at his incandescent best, exuding charisma and craft. The song’s narrative revolves around a secret club that people discover when the time is right, allowing them to feel like they belong to something, mirroring the feeling of inclusivity that Kosmo’s music emits.
We premiere the video for “Groove Religion”; shot in Berlin and featuring members of the city’s dance and breakdance community, it’s celebratory and colourful, the perfect accompaniment to the warm and feel-good cut.
