Born and raised in New York, Jack Powers is a multi-disciplined enigma making waves across the city’s creative space. Excelling as a poet, musician, fashion designer and classically-trained dancer, Powers appears unstoppable in the industry, as he continues to build a portfolio of striking work. He has unveiled an array of singles over the past few years and found his sound, which he has now augmented with this latest release.

“House Party” is a club friendly, infectious track that shifts between eccentric pop and hard hitting dance tendencies. The kind of song that is best received whilst on your feet moving, the booming grooves and slick melodies lay a foundation for Powers to give a vocal performance full of character.

Speaking on the single, the artist adds, “House Party is about a crazy night out on the Lower East Side with my friends who are all pop stars. We were in a club, but when I looked around, it felt like a house party. Everywhere you go, you have the opportunity to turn that space into your own epic house party. It was produced by Kitty, aka The Pom-Poms, whose music has inspired me and my friends for years. Working with her feels like plugging into the source of this style of music. I’m so grateful to collaborate with her and push what has influenced me so much into new sonic territories together.” 

With a debut EP on the horizon, Powers looks set to continue to sharpen his craft and state his case to the pop industry.
