South London singer-songwriter Rowan Flack is quickly becoming a key figure in the UK jazz and soul renaissance. Weaving in elements of pop, indie and folk into her intricate, expressive sound, Flack is becoming renowned for her thought-provoking lyrical approach and seamlessly smooth instrumentality. A former Brit school student, the artist has an impressive musical education and is building a discography to do it justice, not least with her newest cut, “Tipsy On The Tongue”.

The new single sees Flack at her textured best. As I have gotten to this stage of my life, I am constantly discovering different flaws and blessings in myself and my personality. I tend to lean towards writing about communication and personal experience.” With the lyrics showing a vulnerability to the artist. “Tipsy On The Tongue” focuses on the flaws of my personality and self-awareness during an argument and how two people’s love languages don’t always align.”
