PREMIERE: NOT3S — “SO FAR GONE”

We premiere the slick rapper’s new music video — shot in Lagos, it marks a new chapter of connection to his heritage.

Not3s is back with a new single, “So Far Gone”, featuring Mayorkun, and we are so excited to premiere its accompanying music video here at Wonderland.

This track and video are particularly important to the U.K. artist, who travelled to Lagos to film it. As he connects strongly with his Nigerian roots, he marks a new chapter of authenticity with a sound evocative of his heritage and the future of his sound. Truly all his own, this era evolves upon over six years of a successful career, with hits “Addison Lee” and “Aladdin” topping the charts. At the forefront of the Afro-Swing movement, he has continued to impress and expand upon his artistry, refining his sound and perspective into a beautiful artistry.

The Hackney born and raised star has always paid homage to Nigeria, incorporating Yoruba slang into his lyrics, he fully embraces his heritage with “So Far Gone”. Featuring Nigerian afrobeats Mayorkun, the song was inspired by a deep connection to his ancestry and the culture he was brought up in. A feel-good track with catchy melodies, complex beats, and strong vocals, “So Far Gone” is brought even further to life with a vibrant video. With stunning headshots and Nigerian dress, the visuals star Not3s himself alongside Mayorkun. Enigmatic, atmospheric, and full of beautiful colours, it’s in a class all itself.
