VILEBREQUIN LA PLAGE

A new multi-dining experience on Cannes’ adored private beach brings the swimsuit designer’s world to life.

Saint-Tropez swimsuit designer Vilebrequin has provided beach-goers with their favourite pieces since the early 1970s. Now, with Vilebrequin La Plage, they have a dining experience to match.

Located on one of Cannes’ premiere private beaches, L’Ondine, the multi-restaurant space evokes the spirit of Vilebrequin through ocean views, sunny skies, and nautical design. The brand worked with interior designer Vincent Darré to create a physical environment that matches the artistic world of their swimsuit designs, using sea-weathered wood panels, hand-painted tiles, and sea creature motifs. Further decorated with antique tchotchkes and vintage Vilebrequin prints, the beach is transformed into an indoor-outdoor haven of Riviera beauty. An indoor cabin, sun terrace, outdoor bar, and more create a comprehensive drinking and dining experience that is truly one-of-a-kind. You can even borrow Vilebrequin tote bags and sun caps while at the beach, bringing the brand experience to a full 360°.

Vilebrequin CEO Roland Herlory says: “First we made the costumes. Now we’re making the set. The beach is where Vilebrequin was born. And it’s where we belong. Every summer since 1971, it’s been the backdrop to an art of living in the sun. It was only a matter of time before we put the la plage ‘centre stage’, installing our turtles and parasols on the Côte d’Azur!”
