Gris Dior, a signature colour and leading fragrance of Dior Parfums, saw new forms this past week with an exhibition dedicated to its influence. With The Grey Zone, a temporary immersive art installation, Dior Parfums invited five international artists to create work based on the famous hue. The result was an atmospheric space covered in shades of grey, impeccable creativity, and grand imagination.

Drawing on inspiration from the fragrance’s notes, shades, and history, each artist’s work took on a life of its own. Ben Johnston, a multidisciplinary artist known for his murals, designed Gris, a street art style mural that visually captures the fragrance. Moving through the space, the British-American sound artist Mileece celebrated the harmonies of nature with an installation titled Avant Jardin — The Essence of Fragrance, and multimedia Collectif Scale blended music and scent together with Flux. Argentinian digital artist Andrés Reisinger created a digital gallery based on the values of Gris Dior, and Netherlands-based Thomas Trum presented a mural and live performance, titled Colourchanging Looping Line (Gris).

The Grey Zone was a 360° experience in Los Angeles, bringing visitors into the world of Gris Dior and the creative collaborations that define the Dior house. It was open from 13th April to 16th April.
