Introducing the track best himself, Speight explains, “‘Let Go’ is like the follow-up phone call to my previous single ‘The One’. It follows the thread of getting over someone… It deals with the angst and heartbreak.” Filming a home-style video to accompany the tracks soaring symphonies, “Let Go” opens with a montage of fans singing along to his penned lyrics, joining together to lament the pain, mourning and redemption that comes with letting go of someone you love. Celebrating the togetherness that lies at the crux of his music, Speight allows us to remain united in our heartache and empowered by its mutuality.
