Alexi Lubomirski is amongst the leading global fashion and celebrity portrait photographers. He has captured an eclectic array of musicians, actors and societal figures throughout his cherished career, shooting world leading names such as Margot Robbie, Leonardo DiCaprio, and the British Royal Family, as well as photographing for many of the leading publications and brands from across the globe. A passionate environmentalist, Alexi offers in-depth thoughts and insights into his professional and personal life via his popular YouTube channel.
Now, Lubomirski has announced the unveiling of his essential work, The Sittings (2003-2023). A sprawling collection of 113 portraits, spanning from over 20 years, the publication is curated as a series of individual portraits, with five chapters specifically dedicated to the photographer’s most shot subjects – Julia Roberts, Kate Winslet, Lupita Nyongo, Jennifer Anniston and The Royals. The publication was designed in partnership with Peter Hughes, Creative Director at Assembly London, and was printed by Graphicon, a specialist Art Books printer based in Italy. Proceeds from the book will be donated to humanitarian charity Concern World-wide, which Lubomirski is a proud ambassador of.
The launch of the book will also be accompanied by an exhibition at the ArtSpace in Claridge’s Hotel opening Monday April 24th, 2023 – Monday May 15th 2023.
With many of the most relevant faces in 21st century popular culture included, the collection is a dazzling tribute to Lubomirski’s subjects, and an illustrious showcase of the photographers talent.
The Sittings will be available to purchase online through Amazon and Lubomirski’s official artist website.
