Get into Symone Royale. A Houston native who began nurturing her love for music in church, it was there and then that she learned to play the piano, as well as sing. And get this, by the time she was at the tender age of sixteen, Royale was already being sought out for public performances all over the Houston Metro area. Talk about talent!

Symone’s music is heavily influenced by the strong funk sounds of Parliament Funkadelic, Prince, and Chaka Khan, which gives her music an unparalleled groovy vibe. This is put on display by her latest single “Loose.” A bop through and through, this track is all about letting go and dancing like nobody’s watching. The nascent starlet wanted to create something fun and playful that reflected all the good things that were happening in her life, which is tangible in the track.
