PREMIERE: BENMOZES – IMMIGRANT

The Boston band bless us with their debut album.

Boston rock band Benmozes’s debut 10-track odyssey, IMMIGRANT, possesses a powerful energy with its magnetic mix of heavy rhythmic pulls, growling guitars and explosive riffs that transfers an emboldening energy to all who listen. Tracking the highs and lows of life in our age, with brooding vocals that sway from low menacing tones to aching cries, the eclectic singles, that persist in listener’s mind long after being heard, set the band apart from other rock bands.

Featuring a fluorescent variety of singles, the album journeys through the dirty blues rock tones of the title track that conjures a rebellious urging for misfits to resist and refuse to be silently oppressed by others. The powerful and convoluted feel of “Ominous” spreads out across six minutes with no chorus slowly builds into the legendary single “As Memory Fades” offers a beacon of light cutting through a dark space. Pure adrenaline is injected into this project that features the bands hit singles ‘She’s The Wave”, “Losing It”, “Witches and Slaves” and “As Memory Fades”. Rebellion is a core feature in the single “Fake” that ponders on an outsider who refuses to be fooled by polished photos on social media that present sparklingly perfect lives. The album’s fifth track “Trips in Time” doses the album with a big, catchy 80’s appeal, while “About Time” confesses the complex relationship between man and time. Finishing the album with a bang, the concluding “Waiting for Good Luck to Come” is a vision of ecstasy.

Fire and energy roar across the Benmozes album IMMIGRANT that cannot be missed!
