Tom A Smith has been making waves in the music scene; listeners have instantly been captivated by the artist’s raw and ready indie-rock sound. Following up the release of his explosive “EP2”, Smith has slowly but surely been unfurling the rest of his stellar oeuvre.

Coming back to bite, Smith brings us “Little Bits”. A culmination of Smith’s musical mastery, this Larry Hibbitt-produced track is set to take the world by storm. Atmospheric and enticing, searing guitar strings pave the way for Smith’s valiant vocals to take their hold. Crescendoing into a thrashing chorus, listeners are left feeling irrevocably impacted.

Reflecting on the track, Smith notes: “Whilst on tour with Gang of Youths, singer/songwriter Dave talked through his process when he wrote a song. As soon as I came back I put it into practice and this is what I came up with. The challenge I set myself was to write a song that would be great in Rocky IV and I think this works really well.”

Hot off the heels of a blazing 2022, Smith has been racking up a wealth of nods and accolades. From BBC Introducing North East, and Apple Music coverage, to supporting Elton John at his British Summer Time show – there’s no telling where he’ll end up next. That said, “Little Bits” is anything to go by – we’re definitely along for the ride.
