Rosalía, Lizzo and Dua Lipa dazzle us in this week’s fashion round-up.
What a week we’ve had. We were graced with the long-awaited BRITs, and we’ve also been treated to some stellar looks outside of the awards circuit. Either way, as usual, we’ve been collecting the freshest fits that have blessed our feed. From Rosalía’s subversive prep, and Lizzo’s candy floss creation, to Dua Lipa’s denim dream: Fashion Looks of the Week has arrived.
Head below to see this week’s picks…
Candy floss cloud
Up first is Miss Lizzo – who never fails to turn out a *look*. The artist showed up and showed out at the BRITs this week, offering up a total dream of an outfit. Donning the Milanese label Act N°1, a split leg pink satin dress is – quite literally – elevated in a fluffy pink bouffant. Bursting up out of the dress’ bodice – there’s no doubt Lizzo was turning many a head that evening.
Rosalía is the oracle when it comes to dreaming up looks, and this week she dazzled us in a preppy, yet subversive, outfit. Opting for a fit completely comprised of the Lithuanian independent label Urte Kat – Rosalía oozes cool. In a deconstructed and reconstructed blue shirt, cut outs reveal the artist’s toned stomach. Accessorising with adorable ear muffs, and elevating the look with a split leg, ruched cargo skirt to boot – Rosalía did the damn thing.
Darling in Dior
Rapper Loyle Carner also showed us how it’s done at the BRITs – repping Dior. In a faux denim two piece, distressed details and the Dior monogram embellish the piece. Throwing in some colour with a striped knit jumper, Carner breathes some vibrancy into the look. Up top, the artist sports some ultra-cool red shades – bringing the look over the edge with some cornrows. Colour us impressed!
Pop sensation Cat Burns also turned it out while turning up to the BRITs – wearing Wales Bonner. A gorgeous electric blue jacket features intricately placed studs, calling to mind a Western aesthetic. The colour complements her skin perfectly, and the vibrancy of the jacket is heightened with leather white trousers on the bottom. Letting the top half speak for itself, while still carrying the thread of that Western theme – Burns shone.
Last up is Dua Lipa, who makes waves not only for her pop hits – but for her outfits also. Opting for an oversized denim two piece – it’s the details that bring this look over the edge. Subtle polka dots and glitter imbue the look with some impact. The jacket is only buttoned part of the way down, allowing this oversized piece to still be sexy. Givenchy Shark Boots peek from underneath the midi skirt, cementing Lipa’s status as a fashion killer.
