It would seem that our prayers have been answered, as Philo’s inaugural collection is set to hit the label’s website in September.

Kicking off New York Fashion week with a bang, this news is sure to ruffle some feathers amongst her peers. If anyone knows how to do sophisticated, sleek, and chic – it’s Philo. Treating us to slouchy silhouettes, a modern vision, and philosophies that flirt with academia – Philo’s time at Celine was spent racking up design disciples like there was no tomorrow.

With the designer’s namesake brand backed by the luxury conglomerate LVMH, this announcement is fanning the piping-hot flames. We’re still in the dark about the specifics of the label’s debut collection, but one thing’s for sure: Philo’s back, baby.
