Manchester duo Cooper T have just dropped their raucous new single, “Getting In The Way,” and it’s a true anthem in the making. The track, which is the first taste of their debut EP set to be released in 2023, features bold dueling guitar riffs and a bassline that will have fans on their feet and singing along. Co-produced with renowned Drum’n’Bass DJ and producer Dub Phizix, the single is accompanied by a music video that takes you on a journey through the gritty streets of Manchester, showcasing Cooper T’s attitude and charisma.

Described as a cross between Slowthai, Happy Mondays, and a modern day Specials, Cooper T stands out with their unique style, rooted in the flickering club scene of post-grime, jungle, and breakbeats, yet with a touch of 2 Tone and punk DNA. Their socio-political lyrical content is equally as key to their delivery, which they describe as “music for misfits.” A voice for the disillusioned, they capture the ominous sound of British life in 2023.

Having already built a strong live following and fanbase through their own headline shows across the North of England and support slots on Blazer Boccle’s recent tour, Cooper T is set to become one of the most exciting, energetic, and relevant must-see live bands.
