Harbouring a natural talent for all things music, rising star Kendra Jae started out in the ‘biz dancing for the likes of Beyonce, Drake, Gwen Stefani and Dua Lipa. Now she’s changing gears, embarking on the journey to develop her own artistic prowess.

A critically acclaimed R&B singer, she’s blazed through the year – collaborating with DaniLeigh on a couple of banging hits, which were featured on Def Jam’s coveted ‘Def The Halls’ playlist. Fanning the flames, she’s back with her new track “Wanted”, and it’s an anthem for the lover girls.

Jae gives us the lowdown on how she wants to be loved. Filled to the brim with witty one liners, she offers up her ultra-relatable most intimate desires. Reflecting on how the track came to be Jae says, “I feel like ‘Wanted’ is the epitome of what every girl thinks but might not say out loud. Wanting to be wanted is a universal desire that we all crave – whether we want to admit it or not.”

“Wanted” is soft, like a cloud. Its mellow production and pulsating percussion paves the way for Jae’s silky-smooth vocals to unfurl overtop.
