Despite only making his musical debut earlier this year, Los Angeles -based Jack Xander is the latest musician paving the way with his addictive sound and unique melodies. His new single, “Sun Up My Sleeve,” is the third offering from the artist and is a perfect example of his captivating and immersive style. Combining an easy-listening air with powerful undertones and an underground ‘80s vibe, the song takes the listener on an optimistic journey to escape a foreboding and gloomy world, while Jack’s vocal style adds a delicate yet powerful touch. Speaking about the new single, Jack said, “I feel that “Sun Up My Sleeve’” is a window into the loneliest part of my soul, where no hope lives, but an orange ray of light sometimes peeks through”. A family affair, the track was recorded in Xander’s home studio, with his brother Alfie on drums, Leo Major on synths and bass by Dawson Kroeger. Originally a creative lockdown endeavour, this captivating new track promises to go the distance, paving the way for a bright future in the industry for this unique artist.
