ZETA MORRISON

Hailing from the United Kingdom, Zeta Morrison’s introduction into the industry started with what used to be untraditional – through reality television, where she fell in love and won season four of Love Island USA. Since then, the bubbly, beautiful, fan favorite has captured more hearts than one (her Love Island beau Timmy,) and has barely stopped to catch her breath with careers in acting, modeling and blogging alike to ‘fuel her soul.’

Morrison is creative, ineffably cool—and, of course, loving in a way that reminds you, constantly, that there is not a single thing in life that has to be unfulfilling, ordinary, or boring.

Currently signed with Peak Models, Morrison has been tapped to partner and model for brands like BodyFab and Michael Costello. She also stars in films like, We Follow You which premiered at Hollywood’s historic TCL Chinese Theater and won countless film festivals. The young captivating Britain recently secured a role, alongside Macy Gray and Lance Gross, in the notable television series Crime & Justice.

But before she was a model, actress, or the winner of Love Island, Morrison’s first love was writing. Two years ago, Zeta launched her blog, Zeta Confidential, where she brings a community of women together sharing her unfiltered thoughts, reviews, and stories. Following her Love Island victory, Morrison’s community has grown as supporters actively engage with her and each other, starting group chats, support groups, and more outside of the blog itself.

Talking to Morrison, one will immediately note she has a natural talent of captivating you with her big personality and loving heart. Whether it be modeling, acting, writing, or speaking, she transforms the day-to-day every chance she gets, making even the mundane feel electric. I don’t doubt it’s why she won Love Island and what’s made her, and her career thus far, so fascinating to watch.

More of Zeta Confidential unlocked and unfiltered below…

Zeta Morrison, you are 29-years-old, from the United Kingdom, you have a degree in psychology, you write and run a members only blog called the Zeta Confidential. You are also the season 4 winner of Love Island, you model and you are an actress. All of this and you say you’re just getting started and love to keep it simple. How do you manage work life balance?
I am just now getting used to managing work/life balance. Killing two birds with one stone has become my go to goal in everything I do! Especially when it comes to spending time with Timmy, my family & myself!

Viewers fell in love with your charm, grace, and impeccable sense of style. How would you describe your approach to fashion?
My approach to fashion is very simple. Cozy, cozy, cozy. On the island I was dolled up much more than I typically am used to because I saw it as a fun opportunity to get dressed up. However, my general style is a bit more baggy mixed with “skimpy” lol. If the top half is baggy then the bottom must be skimpy and vice versa. I also don’t need a name brand. If the item is cute and speaks to me, I am all about it.

How did your life change after Love Island, and how are you navigating a more public life?
My life has changed in the sense that I cannot leave the house looking as rough as I used to! I have to look somewhat presentable now in case people want to take a picture with me. I will never deny a picture. I also have a very public relationship now, which is strange to navigate as I have always kept my romantic relationships quite private in the past. I navigate a more public life just doing what feels best to me and my soul. I let that guide me!

Not only were you on the show but you managed to win it. Do you think you had an advantage over your co-stars in winning Love Island due to your knowledge in human behavior?
I think knowledge in human behavior is always a plus. However, I think my true advantage came from the empathy I have for others and the fact that people could feel that.

You run a super popular blog that your followers can’t get enough of. Can you give us an inside scoop on what Zeta Confidential provides to your subscribers?
Zeta Confidential (ZC) aka ZC NATION is an all encompassing blog full of entertainment, never before seen behind the scenes footage, access to private zoom calls with me & above all – vulnerability. Subscribers of ZC are able to share their stories as well as give and receive advice all within a safe space. It is a space that highlights all of the similarities we share as a human race despite our backgrounds and it unites us. The main mission behind ZC is to inspire, to seek truth, to evolve, to become and most importantly to remain Godly.

When did your interest spark for acting, and what do you love most about the career path?
I have always been passionate about acting since I was a toddler. I have never not loved it. The chance to engulf yourself in becoming, embodying and understanding another humans’ (characters’) point of view is so freeing.

You’ve starred in a Horror film called We Follow You and a TV series called Crime & Justice. Do you hope to continue acting in genres like these?
I would love to continue acting in genres like these. Crime & Law seem to be the genres I’ve auditioned for the most and I do quite enjoy them, so why not? 🙂 I also enjoyed horror but it requires constant emotion and can take a lot out of you.

What are your dream roles to have as an actor?
I would die to play a role like Zoe Saldanas in Colombiana. An absolute dream role. And to star as a series regular like Viola Davis on the hit show, How To Get Away with Murder. Or Naturi Naughton in Power. I also wouldn’t mind playing Marvel’s Storm. I love a powerful female assassin! Hahaha.

Have you ever thought about being a part of another reality TV show?
I have not thought about being apart of another reality TV show. I never thought to do reality TV but something about Love Island sat well with my spirit so I jumped in. Not sure about others though.

What does your family think of you being famous and how has your fame changed their life?
My family are the biggest supporters. I am so blessed. As of now my fame has changed their lives in a positive way. My mum lets everyone she meets know I won Love Island USA (lol) and my bruvs find it cool when people approach me in public.

You’ve truly built a community of empowered women who support each other in so many ways. What does that mean to you?
It means everything to me because all I have ever wanted to do is to have a positive impact on the lives of others and leave a footprint here on Earth. The women I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know through ZC are one of a kind and their support for me and their support for one another is truly mesmerizing.

How do you prioritize self-care well and wellness with your current schedule?
Prioritizing self care/wellness is a priority. It’s non-negotiable because if I’m not taking care of myself, nothing else goes well. My mental health takes a toll if I do not prioritize it. Therefore I make sure I’m always catering to that first. The year 2020 and the pandemic taught me the importance of self care.

How do you and Timmy support each other and continue to strengthen your bond after the show?
Timmy and I are best mates so it’s very easy to support each other. Our bond grows stronger everyday without even trying. We truly care about one another’s well being regardless if we are in a relationship or not, and we both know that. Which in return has continued to strengthen our romantic connection post show.
