As the name might suggest, SoftCore Radicals believes that softness is a radical force for change. In a world that is numb to the violence of fossil fuels and the decimation of trees, the brand has the courage to feel hope and joy – the goal is to ignite others to take action. Founded by two friends who shared a strong frustration with the fashion industry, the brand’s foot soldiers are facts and its weapons are graphic design, wit, and biodegradable glitter paint. The duo set out to create sensationally soft knitwear that does the planet more good than harm, and after years of trial and error, they became the first independently audited carbon-negative clothing brand.

Continuing to innovate and inspire the clothing industry to change its ways and become part of the solution, the recently announced Sheep Inc.’s Drop SoftCore Radicals campaign is a true testament to the brand’s commitment to planet-friendly practices. Full of playful images shot by renowned photographer Sarah Moon, the campaign showcases the latest collection of colour-blocked cashmere pieces. Going the extra mile, the brand is s taking transparency and provenance to the next level with its latest innovation: on-farm sheep facial recognition software. This technology, which sits behind the brand’s Connected Dot, will allow customers to see the sheep and farms at the origin of each knit in real-time. This will bring a new level of transparency and connection to the brand’s sustainable fashion offerings. As always, SoftCore Radicals is pushing the boundaries of knitwear design and sustainability, adding cosy, colourful co-ords to your collection in the process.
